Pre-filters

Pre Filter or preminary filter is a filter that serves to filter the particles of large or coarse particles, with the particle size exceed or equal to 10 microns. The use of pre-filter as the initial filter helps the filter with higher efficiency (Medium & HEPA) to function longer, air filtration is done gradually to be effective, if HEPA filtered directly the HEPA will quickly block and damage. In the classification Pre filters have classes from G1 to G4, with 2 types of filters is washable and unwashable filter.

medium filters

Particles of size below 10µm will pass through the initial screening and will undergo a filtration process through which filtration has a higher efficiency. The filtration stage is performed by a Medium filter that has a range of M5 to F9 in the standard European filter class. This Filter plays a role in filtering particles of 10 to 1µm

HEPA filters

HEPA filter serves to filter the air from environment for clean to be channeled into clean areas. HEPA filters are capable of removing 99.97% of contaminant particles 0.3 µm in diameter. The class range used for HEPA is E10-H14 each class has a hygiene level expressed in particle quantities of ≥ 0.5 µm and 5  µm. The number of different particles will be the guide to select the appropriate HEPA type.

Ulpa Filters

ULPA is an acronym “Ultra Low Penetration Air (filter)” An ULPA filter can remove from the air at least 99.999% of dust, pollen, mold, bacteria and any airbone particles with a size of 100 nanometres (0.1µm) or larger. Ultra-low particulate (or sometimes “penetration”) air (ULPA) filters are closely related to HEPA filters but are even more efficient. ULPA filters are used in air filtration and purification systems to control airbone particulate levels and to stop the spread of toxic agents and infectious diseases.

Chemical Filters

Designed to remove pollutant gasses and vapors from the building environment and recirculation air handling systems. Chemical Filters are equipped with sorbent filters for capturing and controlling gas-phase contaminants.
